Congratulations to Amelie Marie Hadnett who will be baptised during the

11.00 am Mass on Sunday. Also to Amelie’s parents and grandparents; Shaun,

Ann Marie and Margaret and Noël Hadnett.

 

Scottish / Polish Disco Dance, organised by St Mary’s Fund Raising Group, will take place on Saturday 26 May; starting at 7.00 pm. Tickets £6; for tickets or more details contact 07783125890; Monday to Friday from 6.00 pm till 8.00 pm.

 

St Vincent de Paul – Next meeting will be on Sunday 27 May

 

Parish Events – St Mary’s Parish Pastoral Council are organising a number of parish events including a ‘Family Prize Bingo Evening’ in June and a ‘Parish Walk & Picnic’ in August; exact dates and times and other events will be announced soon.

 

CENSUS – a Parish Census will be taken, between the 2nd and the 24th June, to update our parish records. Forms will be available from Saturday the 2nd June; please complete and return to the boxes provided by Sunday 24 June; also take a form for any housebound parishioners you may know or visit.

 

Sing to the Lord: St Mary's Church choir is happy to have more singers to Sing the Mass. Anyone who wishes to join or requires information please contact Baxter Murray on 01463 230625 or email j.bmurray@btinternet.com

Practices are usually on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 to 9.00 pm.

 

Senior Citizens Outing SVDP members are organising an outing to Revack Estate on Thursday 7th June; leaving King St at 11.00 am. You are invited to put your name on the list at the back of church

‘Adult’ Altar Servers needed- please speak to Deacon Patrick if you would like to join our altar servers’ rota. Servers are needed for the Vigil Mass and the

11 am & 6.30 pm Sunday Masses

 

Childrens’ Liturgy – every Sunday during the 11.00 am Mass.

 

Piety Stall – The Piety Stall is open every Sunday after the 11.00 am & 6.30 pm Masses. Cards for all occasions available; First Communion, Sympathy, Mass and others Cards

 

Wednesday Exposition after the 10.00 am Mass. Eucharistic Adoration takes place until 3.00 pm; after this the Divine Mercy Chaplet is recited.

Please commit yourselves to ½ hour by entering your name on the list at the church door.

Congratulations to the three Confirmation candidates who will be confirmed during the 9.30 am Mass on Sunday; Frankie Grout, Jonathan Macaulay and Ruairidh Macdonald;also congratulations to the three for completing a two hour sponsored silence and collected £105 to go to the Archie Foundation Appeal for Raigmore Children’s Ward.

 

Prize Bingo Friday 25th May at 7pm. We always need items to use as prizes, please help as this is what makes the evening such a success. I will call round and collect items if anyone wishes; 01463 791332 Don.

FIRS – The next meeting is on Thursday 7th June at 2pm; we plan to have a strawberry tea and a blether
